Overview

Access

From Villanueva del Rosario take the road from Hondonero to the Hermitage of the Virgen del Rosario. From here you can continue on foot or by car along a forest track for about 3 km. At this point, on the left you will find a small esplanade and the information panel of the via ferrata. This is the beginning of a cross-country route, bordering the Cazorla hill in west direction until finding the beginning of the route.

The path we must take runs through the pines. When we ascend and pass the clearing we have to follow the path, finding some milestone, until arriving at a rock with an important downhill, where we will find some steps that will facilitate our descent. Right in front of us we will see the beginning of the cable.

Descent

Descend towards the plain between the summit where we are and the summit that we see next to it, and from there we will go to the right until we find the approach path, which we will follow in reverse until we reach the car park again.
